The full branding suite includes logo variations, ads, a full set of collateral (business cards, letterhead, envelopes), a kit cover with a custom die cut, brochures, banners, and a collection of swag designed to make every kid feel like a hero in training. Each piece was designed to spark imagination, invite curiosity, and make learning feel like an epic adventure.
This project celebrates the idea that every child has the power to explore, question, and create their own story — one superpowered thought at a time.
For this project, I created a bold, comic-inspired brand identity for Young Minds, a children’s exploratorium in Portland, Oregon. With the empowering slogan “Be Your Own Hero,” the space encourages kids to see knowledge as a superpower and curiosity as the first step toward shaping their own futures. The visual identity draws from classic comic book styles — dynamic typography, speech bubbles, halftone textures, and bold color palettes — creating an atmosphere that’s energetic, adventurous, and deeply empowering. I designed a custom superhero mascot to represent every child’s inner strength and potential.
